My name is Charlotte and I am a 19-year old girl from Germany. I have already been here for a couple of days now and it has been a fantastic experience.
Today is Friday and that means it is delivery day. We have to fill many boxes with vegetables and then bring them to Mameno`s customers. But before all of that we had to pick the vegetables. First, we went to the Asian potato (Satoimo) field and collected them by digging them up and washing them. It was very interesting to see the difference between the European and the Asian potato and with the four of us it went really quickly. At home we weighed the vegetables and then packed them, wrapped in newspaper, into the boxes. Off you go!! Hopefully you will make someone really happy with your deliciousness.
Yesterday we went to a vegan restaurant about an hour away from the farm, located on the other side of the bay. The food was so tasty and the people there seemed very kind. A vegetable garden, a small pizzeria place and a surfboard-rental-service also belonged to the restaurant and made me feel like being in some kind of organic community. I was also able to meet two other WWOOFers staying at this place and it was very interesting to share some of our experiences. I think I could have stayed forever on that terrace with the sun shining on my face, nice food on the table and friendly people to talk to.

★今週の循環農法野菜セット
1.大根間引き菜 炒めものや、汁の具など、美味しい菜っ葉です。さっと塩ゆでしたものをよく絞って、みじん切りにし、ごはんにゴマ塩と一緒に合えると美味。
2.さつまいも 今回は紅東。たくさん収穫がありそうなので、増量しました。
3.水菜 赤からし菜もミックスしてあります。柔らかいので、サラダやさっと火通しして食べてください。
4.冬瓜 沖縄小型冬瓜という品種。煮物やあんかけ、味噌汁、おでんの具など。
5.越津ねぎ 白ネギと青ねぎの中間的な愛知県津島市の伝統品種。緑の葉も美味しい品種です。
6.人参 煮物やサラダに。
7.生姜（orいんげん） 薬味やタレに。寒くなってきたので、温かい鍋にも。
8.里芋 まず下茹でして手で皮を剥いた方がラクかも。
9.いんげん 背に筋があるので引いてとってください。。
10.じゃがいも 6月収穫のを冷蔵庫で保管していました。芽がでやすいです。
11.赤ピーマン もうほぼ終了。熟したピーマンで甘みが増しています。
